comfy clothes and
clean hair
and shaved legs
with lots of head-space
and good talks
with sweaters zipped up
not giving up
but instead
taking a break.
I'm going nowhere special
no "Zoo Falls" south dakota
or chitown
or bloomington
just home.
I made leaf angels
and drank crystal clear water
in the sun
this afternoon
and knew
it would be alright.
