so you have shadow red faced friends in the corner,
so light sweats from your eyes when you close them,
so non scary music is air in your blood film,
after credits come.
so you feel prickled and shiny, better than a shower,
you're breathing ice.
so your skin finally feels like the organ it is
even though your feet are clenched numb.
a muffled scream at three a.m. is
better than any sheep,
always scare your brain stupid
before you sleep.
